# useInitialDepositAmount

Reads the seed deposit the factories pull from the caller when spawning for an asset, as a TanStack Query result.

The amount to approve before a spawn. See [Deploying a conduit](/guides/deployingAConduit).

## Import

## Usage

```tsx
import { useInitialDepositAmount } from '@railnetorg/railnet-sdk/react'

const { data: seed } = useInitialDepositAmount({ assetRegistry, asset })
```

## Returns

A TanStack Query result over `bigint`, with its `queryKey` attached. See
[`getInitialDepositAmount`](/actions/getInitialDepositAmount).

## Parameters

Everything [`getInitialDepositAmount`](/actions/getInitialDepositAmount) takes, plus:

### chainId (optional)

* **Type:** `number`
* **Default:** the connected chain

### enabled (optional)

* **Type:** `boolean`
* **Default:** `true`

## Query options

[`initialDepositAmountQueryOptions`](/react/queryOptions) is this read as TanStack Query options, with
`initialDepositAmountQueryKey` and `initialDepositAmountQueryPrefix` for invalidation.
